Texas High School Softball - Chapin bounces Irvin
April 1, 2022: El Paso, TX 79924 Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), 7-0 in a league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 22-6 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 2. Chapin will battle a Silver Foxes squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Irvin falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Rockets host Burges (El Paso, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 13-8. Burges won 20-2 in their recent league challenge against Andress (El Paso, TX)
