The Baker Spartans basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Shepherd Mustangs to 48 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bigfork for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 9. Baker will battle a Vikings & Valkyries team coming off a 63-30 non-league win over Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT). The Vikings & Valkyries record now stands at 22-0.
