Georgia High School Baseball - Pope wallops Sequoyah
March 4, 2025: Canton, GA 30115 The Pope Greyhounds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Sequoyah Chiefs to 1 in the Greyhounds league win on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoyah for a 5A Area 6 test on Friday, March 7. Pope will play a Chiefs team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Sequoyah drops to 6-4 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to play the Greyhounds in a 5A Area 6 test on Friday, March 7. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 7-3. Pope won 11-1 in their recent league test against Sequoyah (Canton, GA)
