North Carolina High School Soccer - Voyager Academy knocks off Excelsior Classical Academy
March 4, 2025: Durham, NC 27704 The Voyager Academy Vikings soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions to 0 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Princeton for a non-league bout on Friday, March 7. Voyager Academy will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Excelsior Classical Academy moves to 1-1 on the year. The Flying lions host Vance Charter (Henderson, NC) to play the Knights in a Triangle North 1A bout on Thursday, March 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Vance Charter won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC)
