North Carolina High School Soccer - Excelsior Classical Academy toppled by Voyager Academy
April 3, 2025: Durham, NC 27704 Voyager Academy Vikings (Durham, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Voyager Academy advances its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to clash with the Pride in a Triangle North 1A test on Tuesday, April 8. The Pride come into the test with a record of 2-8. Henderson Collegiate lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC)
The Flying Lions now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vance Charter for a Triangle North 1A test on Tuesday, April 8. Excelsior Classical Academy will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.
