March 5, 2022: Weaverville, NC 28787 The Alexander Central Cougars the host North Buncombe Black Hawks softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, West Wilkes nudged Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 26-0, in a non-league battle.
The Black Hawks now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 8.
