South Carolina High School Softball - Stratford holds off Wando
March 5, 2022: Goose Creek, SC 29445 Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bluffton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Stratford will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Wando falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
