North Carolina High School Lacrosse - South Mecklenburg drops to Cuthbertson

March 5, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28210

Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 12-7 in a non-league battle.

The Cavaliers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hough for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Cuthbertson will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Sabres clash with the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck battle, on Thursday, March 7. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 12-11 league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC).
