The Morton Panthers softball team scored 27 runs and held the host Forest Bearcats to 11 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eupora for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 7. Morton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 11-1.

The Bearcats (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 6 challenge with a 7-5 record.
