In Tuesday's league match, the host Morton Panthers softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Richland Rangers.

The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their match against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons go into the non-league match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, Pisgah gained a win over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 3-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) in a 4A Region 6 match, on Thursday, April 9. Richland will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Bearcats go into the match with a 8-8 record after their 24-23 league win over Raymond (Raymond, MS).
