The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) and the host Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), saw Petal's baseball team gain a win over Harrison Central by a tally of 7-0.

The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Commodores enter the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Lafayette held off Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
