The Bruce Trojans baseball squad (Bruce, MS), 8-5 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS)

With the triumph, Water Valley moves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Blue Devils host North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS) to confront the Vikings in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 10. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 3-5. North Pontotoc lost 5-1 in their recent league contest against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS)

The Trojans now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league battle on Monday, March 9. Bruce will face a Falcons team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Vardaman (Vardaman, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 0-8.
