The Donna Redskins baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Porter Cowboys to 4 in the Redskins league win on Friday.

The Redskins (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs enter the 5A Region IV District 32 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Donna North was overwhelmed by Lopez (Brownsville, TX), 9-0, in a league game.

Next, the Cowboys face the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 game, on Tuesday, March 11. Porter will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX).
