The Tigers now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midland for a 6A Region I District 2 test on Thursday, March 20.

With the defeat, Monterey drops to 2-12 on the year. The Plainsmen host Americas (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Trail Blazers in a non-league test on Friday, March 7.
