The Amarillo Sandies baseball squad (Amarillo, TX), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX)

With the triumph, Frenship moves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Thursday, April 24. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 13-9.

The Sandies now possess a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lubbock-Cooper for a 5A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, April 22. Amarillo will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 22-10.
