March 8, 2024: Pembroke, GA 31321 In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Portal Panthers soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Bryan County Redskins.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A D-II Region 2 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Wheeler County nipped Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Redskins (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks go into the 1A D-I Region 3 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Screven County nipped Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
