In Saturday's non-league game, the host Strayhorn Mustangs baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Biggersville Lions.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Bruce nudged Houlka (Houlka, MS), 12-0, in a non-league game.
