In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Oviedo Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lyman Greyhounds.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seminole (Sanford, FL). The Seminoles enter the 3A D2 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Seminole was beaten by Academy of Central Florida National (Kissimmee, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds clash with the Lake Brantley Patriots (Altamonte Springs, FL) in a 3A D2 bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Lyman will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL).
