March 8, 2025: Brownfield, TX 79316 In Saturday's league test, the Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Crane Cranes (Crane, TX), by a count of 21-0.
Next, the Cubs meet the Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 test, on Tuesday, March 11. Brownfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Buffaloes go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 21-6 league loss to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX).
The Cranes (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region I District 3 test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Denver City was routed by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 14-4, in a non-league test.
