March 9, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70611 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Sam Houston Broncos.
Coming up next, the Chipmunks battle the St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 outing, on Tuesday, March 12. Archbishop Chapelle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA).
The Broncos (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Rams enter the 5A District 3 outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Acadiana was tipped by Southside (Youngsville, LA), 10-4, in a league outing.
