In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Midway Raiders softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Pine Forest Trojans.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Swine Valley 2A/3A game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Princeton was routed by North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 9-2, in a non-league game.

The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Terry Sanford for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 11. Pine Forest will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 26-1 league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
