Utah High School Soccer - Pine View overwhelmed by Dixie
April 1, 2021: St. George, UT 84770 In Thursday's league battle, the host Dixie Flyers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Pine View Panthers.
The Flyers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers come into the 4A Region 9 battle with a 2-5 record.
The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar (Cedar City, UT). The Reds come into the 4A Region 9 battle with a 3-6 record.

Dixie scored their first goal when Easton Ellett was assisted by a darting header from Kamden Rocha.
The second goal came when Dixie pressed and PV turned over the ball when it deflected to Iker Meza who put a nice pass into Rene Bernal for a well deserved assist. Pine View did a good job during the first half of organizing defensively to minimizing Dixie’s chances. In the second half Easton notched his second goal from an assit from Rene Bernal. The fourth and final goal came off a PK by Marttinno Campos when Jorge Quintero was fouled in the penalty area. Carlos Diaz shared the shutout for Dixie with Carson Greer who came in to cover the final 30 minutes.
