April 1, 2024: Burlington, IA 52601 The crowd at Monday's league test between the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) and the host Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA), saw WACO's soccer squad knock off Notre Dame by a count of 2-0.
The Warriors now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Danville for a SE IA Super test on Monday, April 8. WACO will meet a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Notre Dame drops to 0-2 on the season. The Nikes host Burlington (Burlington, IA) to meet the Grayhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Grayhounds come into the test with a record of 1-1. Burlington lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Davenport Central (Davenport, IA)
