Arkansas High School Softball - Izard County falls to Mt. Vernon-Enola
April 1, 2024: Mt. Vernon, AR 72111 In Monday's league outing, the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks softball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Izard County Cougars.
Coming up next, the Warhawks encounter the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 2. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Greyhounds enter the outing with a 2-15 record after their 9-6 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against White County Central (Judsonia, AR). The Bears enter the 2A Region 2 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, White County Central ran past Augusta (Augusta, AR), 23-11, in a non-league outing.
