The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) softball nipped the host South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), 4-3 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Warhawks (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Concord (Concord, AR). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Concord nipped West Side (Greers Ferry, AR), 20-15, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornet play the Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 11. South Side will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record.
