The Hilmar Yellowjackets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Escalon Cougars to 11 in the Yellowjackets league win on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orestimba for a Trans Valley League battle on Thursday, April 3. Hilmar will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-6 league win over Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.
