In Tuesday's league test, the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), by a count of 16-5.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 2. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Kays go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Pekin (Pekin, IL).
