April 10, 2023: Herndon, VA 20170 The Herndon Hornets triumphed over the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen lacrosse team by a score of 15-2 in Monday's non-league match.
With the win, Herndon upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Yorktown (Arlington, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 18. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 5-0. Yorktown won 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
With the defeat, George C. Marshall drops to 1-4 on the season. The Statesmen host Langley (McLean, VA) to play the Saxons in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 12. The Saxons go into the match with a record of 0-2.
