Virginia High School Lacrosse - Wakefield drops to Herndon
April 28, 2023: Herndon, VA 20170 Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 14-1 in a non-league battle.
The Hornets now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Langley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 2.
In their next game, the Fighting Owls clash with the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Wakefield will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA).
