The Green Wave now hold a 20-9 record. They take the field next when they host Opelousas Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Ponchatoula will play a Vikings team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 20-9.

With the defeat, Hammond drops to 5-24 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Springfield (Springfield, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12.
