April 10, 2025: Mt. Hermon, LA 70450 Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA), 17-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mt. Hermon upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Independence (Independence, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, April 11. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-14. Independence lost 19-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA)
The Spartans now own a 4-8 record.
