April 10, 2025: West Rutland, VT 05777 In Thursday's league test, the West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT), by a tally of 15-1.
Next, the Golden Horde clash with the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) in a SVL C test, on Friday, April 11. West Rutland will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 16-11 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VT).
The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The go into the SVL D test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Long Trail was routed by Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT), 15-3, in a league test.
