Vermont High School Softball - Poultney bested by West Rutland
April 17, 2025: Poultney, VT 05764 The West Rutland Golden Horde triumphed over the host Poultney Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 20-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Golden Horde meet the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a SVL C challenge, on Saturday, April 19. West Rutland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 15-1 league loss to Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT).
The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen enter the SVL D challenge with a 1-0 record.
