Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 8-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, Elysian Fields advances its record to 14-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Harleton (Harleton, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, April 14. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 18-5. Harleton lost 9-5 in their recent league match against Beckville (Beckville, TX)

The Indians now have a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waskom for a 2A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, April 14. Carlisle will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.
