April 11, 2022: Basalt, CO 81621 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Basalt Longhorns soccer squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Roaring Fork Rams.
The Longhorns (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Skiers come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Aspen tipped Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO), 5-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 15. Roaring Fork will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO).
