May 3, 2022: Carbondale, CO 81623 Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Gore Rangers confront the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Friday, May 6. Vail Mountain will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Skiers enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 5-0 league loss to Delta (Delta, CO).
The Rams now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rifle for a 3A Western Slope test on Thursday, May 5. Roaring Fork will meet a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grand Valley (Parachute, CO). The Bears record now stands at 7-7.
