Alabama High School Softball - South Lamar gets by Berry
April 11, 2022: Berry, AL 35546 The South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) softball nipped the host Berry Wildcats (Berry, AL), 1-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Stallions (9-11) will now prepare for their bout against Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 19-11 record. In their last bout, Winfield was edged by Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Spirit Catholic for a 1A Area 9 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Berry will confront a Saints squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Curry (Jasper, AL). The Saints record now stands at 22-8.
