Holy Spirit Catholic Saints (Tuscaloosa, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Saints now sport a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northside for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Holy Spirit Catholic will face a Rams squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Rams record now stands at 18-8.

With the loss, South Lamar falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Gordo (Gordo, AL) to face the Green Wave in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5.
