Alabama High School Softball - Wilson bounces Central
April 11, 2022: Florence, AL 35633 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) and the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), witnessed Wilson's softball squad tip Central by a count of 7-1.
The Warriors now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brooks for a 4A Area 16 match on Tuesday, April 12. Wilson will face a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL). The Lions record now stands at 24-4.
With the loss, Central moves to 2-14 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to face the Tigers in a 4A Area 16 match on Tuesday, April 12. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 10-6. Deshler lost 4-0 in their recent league match against Brooks (Killen, AL)
