In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), by a final score of 14-1.

With the win, Weddington upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cannon (Concord, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Cannon won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)
