Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 11-5 in a league test.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Chargers host Charles City (Charles City, VA) to battle the Panthers in a Tidewater test on Thursday, April 13. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-5. Charles City won 15-5 in their recent league test against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA)

With the defeat, West Point falls to 0-5 on the season. The Pointers travel to King William (King William, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Tidewater test on Thursday, April 13. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 5-3. King William won 13-2 in their recent league test against Mathews (Mathews, VA)
