The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils baseball squad (Pittsburgh, PA), 2-0 in Friday's league contest with the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA)

With the triumph, Hempfield Area moves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Spartans host Butler (Butler, PA) to confront the Golden Tornado in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Golden Tornado come into the contest with a record of 7-3. Butler lost 7-4 in their recent league contest against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL 6A 2 contest on Monday, April 14. Mt. Lebanon will confront a Big Macs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 8-3.
