Indiana High School Softball - Highland bounces Lowell

Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hobart for a Northwest Crossroads challenge on Wednesday, April 14. Highland will battle a Brickies squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Lowell falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to battle the Fighting 59ers in a Northwest Crossroads challenge on Tuesday, April 13. The Fighting 59ers enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Andrean lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Munster (Munster, IN)
