Virginia High School Lacrosse - New Covenant bounces Fishburne Military
April 12, 2022: Waynesboro, VA 22980 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), saw New Covenant's lacrosse team top Fishburne Military by a margin of 17-3.
The Gryphons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the VISAA Division 2 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, North Cross beat Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC), 9-6, in a league challenge.
The Caissons (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steward (Richmond, VA). The enter the VISAA Division 2 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Steward was overwhelmed by Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA), 15-13, in a non-league challenge.
