Virginia High School Lacrosse - Blue Ridge bounces New Covenant
April 7, 2022: St. George, VA 22935 The Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 18-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Barons host Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 9. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Woodberry Forest won 17-2 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Warrenton, VA)
With the defeat, New Covenant drops to 2-2 on the season. The Gryphons host Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to battle the Bishops in a Virginia Independent outing on Friday, April 8. The Bishops go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Virginia Episcopal School lost 10-4 in their recent league outing against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
