Virginia High School Softball - West Springfield bounces West Potomac
April 12, 2022: Alexandria, VA 22307 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the host West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), witnessed West Springfield's softball squad tip West Potomac by a count of 6-0.
The Spartans now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a Patriot match on Thursday, April 14. West Springfield will meet a Rams squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, West Potomac moves to 2-4 on the season. The Wolverines travel to South County (Lorton, VA) to meet the Stallions in a Patriot match on Thursday, April 21. The Stallions go into the match with a record of 5-4.
