Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers went home happy Friday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the visiting Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 7-1 in a league battle.

Coming up next, the Cowboys play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a Metro 4A battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 13-3 record after their 6-3 league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
