The Weddington Warriors baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Sun Valley Spartans to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Piedmont was overwhelmed by Buford (Lancaster, SC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
