Texas High School Softball - Grulla loses to Port Isabel
April 12, 2024: Rio Grande City, TX 78582 The Port Isabel Tarpons softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Grulla Gators to 0 in the Tarpons league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Port Isabel improves its record to 6-13 on the year. The Tarpons host Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 1-10. Hidalgo lost 13-2 in their recent league game against La Feria (La Feria, TX)
In their next game, the Gators clash with the Zapata Hawks (Zapata, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 game, on Tuesday, April 16. Grulla will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 7-0 league win over Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX).
