April 12, 2025: Vernon, AL 35592 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Fayette County Tigers softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Lamar County Bulldogs.
The Tigers (9-18) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 23-4 record. In their last match, Winfield nipped Oakman (Oakman, AL), 3-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 14. Lamar County will attempt to better on its 15-16 season record.
